Octopus Girl is a satirical animation created specifically for TikTok.

It explores the tangled relationship between influencer capitalism and the individual, offering a sharp critique of the internet’s obsession with productivity (mostly on short-video platforms like TikTok).


It successfully reached more than 700k views on TikTok.

This animation takes a playful (but painful real) dive into the world of toxic parental control, all wrapped up in the sweet, suffocating name of ‘LOVE’.

This animation is inspired by my personal experiences. At a social event, I had a full-blown social anxiety attack, which sent me straight back to my high school days - as one of the few East Asian students in a European school, feeling out of place and dealing with racial discrimination.
